"El Grito"

The title of the painting is "El Grito". The name of the artist is Eduard Munch. It was painted in 1893 in Noruega. The style of painting is genre scene.

I really like the painting because is very abstract and in them appear only 3 colors. Is one of the more famous paintings in the world.  The artist used tonalities of orange, blue and brown.

In the center of the painting there is a strange man with his hands on his ears. He stay like scary, he have got his lips purple, small nose and a big and open eyes. He wears a purple long dress. Behind the man there is a wood bridge and in the left of the bridge, there are two persons not identifiable.  One of the persons wears a brown dress and the other wears a blue one. Under the bridge pass a river and she is much curved, it’s paint with dark blue. At the top of the painting there is the sky. It’s an orange sky and seems is the sunset. In general the picture is very rarely and abstract.
